Explore the frozen expanse of Kaldheim with the return of the snowy lands and powerful snow mechanics. Get 10 snowy lands—one in each draft booster pack, each with a beautiful snowy border—and activate special abilities from snowy cards throughout the set.
The saga cards also return and tell captivating stories from all Ten Realms. The set is filled with the frozen battlefields, brutal landscapes and gnarled creatures of these stories.
Your legend is predetermined! Kaldheim introduces two mechanics to Magic: The Gathering.

Bragging is both customary and encouraged on Kaldheim. Brawling warriors goad each other into strange tests of strength and dexterity, bragging about their exploits, performing bigger and better exploits... or at least they claim to.
Once per turn, after a creature attacks, you can activate its "Brag" ability, adding even more flair to the tavern storyline that's sure to come.
predestination
A storm cloud on the horizon, a group of six ravens flying south, the rumble of the ground... Kaldheimers believe that the natural world is full of signs of what is to come, if only one knew how to understand them .
During your turn, you may pay mana to exile face down a card with the ability "Predetermination" from your hand. You may cast them for their predestination cost on a later turn.
Let your opponents brood, spread your mana costs, wait for the perfect time to counterspell, and bluff your way to victory. Only you know the prophecy of what is to come.
